Welcome to DBL Interactive.
DBL Interactive (or DBLi) is a decision support toolkit that allows you to develop and share Bayesian network models over the internet.
DBL Interactive provides all of the features you would expect from a typical Bayesian network modelling tool as well as support for collaborative network development, advanced documentation of networks, storage of field data (case data), update of network probabilities using field data (case data) and updating of network probabilities using expert opinion.
Over the last decade, Bayesian Networks have been used to develop decision support tools within a wide variety of industries including medicine, engineering, mining and exploration, business and finance, computer science, information technology and natural resource management. This is because Bayesian Networks allow ‘systems thinking’ to be applied to problem solving, whilst accommodating uncertainty in decision making.
In addition to this, Bayesian Networks are very flexible and good at integrating diverse sources of data in decision making, from expert opinion, to monitoring and observation records (case data), to output from other models.
